About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our team and create high-quality documentation that helps users and developers understand and use our products effectively. As a Technical Writer, you will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, manuals, FAQs, and release notes.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Simplify complex technical concepts into clear and concise content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation for engineering teams, such as system architectures, coding standards, and troubleshooting guides.
- Structure documentation following industry standards and best practices, using Markdown, DITA, or other documentation frameworks.
- Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback, product updates, and industry trends.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and tone across all documentation.
- Utilize visuals, diagrams, and flowcharts to enhance technical content.
Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar role.
✅ Strong ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured documentation.
✅ Familiarity with API documentation, software development processes, and technical content creation.
✅ Experience working with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, DITA, ReadTheDocs, or Sphinx.
✅ Basic understanding of programming languages, cloud computing, or DevOps tools is a plus.
✅ Experience with version control systems (Git) and working in Agile teams.
✅ Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
✅ High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
✅ Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
Nice to Have:
➕ Experience documenting RESTful APIs and SDKs.
➕ Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for web-based documentation.
➕ Knowledge of graphic design tools (Figma, Adobe Illustrator) for creating visuals.
➕ Understanding of compliance and security documentation.
