About the Role
We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality applications. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the user experience and ensuring product reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability, and integration testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using test management tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and automation testers to define test strategies.
- Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure high product quality.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on potential issues.
- Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance best practices and standards.
Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
✅ Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
✅ Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr).
✅ Ability to perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.
✅ Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
✅ Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum workflows.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
➕ Basic knowledge of automation testing and willingness to learn automation tools.
➕ Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
➕ Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
➕ ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
