About the Role
We are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, working closely with development and product teams to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Implement and optimize test automation frameworks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to define test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to improve release cycles.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback on product quality.
- Stay updated on new automation tools and best practices.
Requirements:
✅ 2+ years of experience in automation testing.
✅ Strong knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
✅ Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar).
✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
✅ Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI).
✅ Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Xray).
✅ Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
➕ Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
➕ Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow).
➕ Cloud testing experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
➕ ISTQB Certification or equivalent.
