About the Role
We are looking for a Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen our security posture by protecting critical systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. In this role, you will design and implement security measures, monitor for threats, and respond to security incidents to ensure the highest level of protection. You will collaborate with IT and development teams to enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Respond to security breaches and cyberattacks, conducting forensic analysis when needed.
- Develop and enforce secure coding practices in collaboration with development teams.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security regulations and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Conduct security awareness training for employees.
- Research and stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Requirements:
✅ 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
✅ Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols.
✅ Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability scanning tools.
✅ Proficiency in security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, OWASP).
✅ Hands-on experience in penetration testing and ethical hacking.
✅ Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
✅ Strong understanding of incident response, threat intelligence, and digital forensics.
✅ Ability to write security policies and implement access controls and identity management solutions.
✅ Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Nice to Have:
➕ Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
➕ Experience with Zero Trust security models.
➕ Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
➕ Familiarity with SOC (Security Operations Center) operations.
